Speaker cabinets vibrate when playing music and transfer vibrations to the floor, shelf or stand on which the
speaker is standing. Cabinet vibrations are impossible to eliminate completely - the use of normal spikes will not
prevent transmission of these vibrations. Subsequently, the floor, shelf or stand will then produce noise. This
additional unwanted noise mixes with the original pure sound from the speaker drivers. The result is a degraded,
unclear sound with less precision and detail.
